What's New in Version 7.0

Layout Expert
Make your reports crystal clear with the new Layout Expert. The expert guides you step-by-step in deciding the data from your data source and then forms an outline of the report layout.  Simply drag-and-drop data or summaries into the layout and let XLReporter do the rest.

Drill down reports
Produce reports containing data, sub-totals, grand totals and a host of summaries that otherwise would be impossible.  For example, generate a monthly report from hourly data and include daily totals, minimums and maximums as well as monthly summaries.

Charting and Calculations
Summarize the information on your report by embedding charts as well as complex Excel functions and calculations at every nested group level.  For each new group, a chart is produced and formulas and functions are updated automatically.

Cross tab (pivot) reports
Gain a new perspective on your data by using the Cross Tab reporting expert.  This capability gives you an easy approach to combining different data views in a single report.

Aggregate Builder and Scheduler

Take Real-Time sample data and turn it into meaningful aggregate summary information to use in your reports.  XLReporter's easy to use Aggregate Builder and Scheduler is where you define all the aspects of the aggregate functions including where the aggregates get their data, how often that data is collected and how often the aggregates calculate the data collected to produce the values required.
